• Typically produces a 4+ mil profile on steel surfaces

• Used to remove thick coatings (20-60 mils) and rust in maintenance applications or where a larger surface profile is required
• Typically produces a 3-4 mil profile on steel surfaces

• Used to remove heavier coatings (Up to 40 mils) and rust while controlling profile
• Typically produces a 2.5-3 mil profile on steel surfaces

Garnet 30x60 Mesh
Medium

• "Workhorse" grade used for general purpose abrasive blasting, new steel, maintenance work on coatings up to 20 mils and denim blasting
• Common applications include shipbuilding, heavy equipment repair, petro-chemical, denim blasting, powder coating and blast rooms
• Typically produces a 2-3 mil profile on steel surfaces

Garnet 80 Mesh
Fine

• Used on aluminum and other sensitive substrates
• Common applications include powder coating and surface preparation of aluminum surfaces
• Typically produces a 1.5 - 2.0 mil profile on steel surfaces

• Used on very sensitive surfaces or in applications where a very shallow surface profile is desired
• Typically produces a 1.0 - 1.5 mil profile on steel surfaces
